Facebook dark mode for Messenger and Facebook Lite is already being rolled out. Recently the Facebook web version has got a new makeover along with much anticipated dark mode support.
The Facebook dark mode was long due and finally, it has arrived for all users around the world. The new makeover lo looks like a mobile/tablet app and much faster than the classic old version. If you are still using the old Facebook here is how you can switch to the dark mode with a new improved look.

Enable Dark mode in Facebook web
Step 1: Log in to the Facebook account in the browser
Step 2: Go to the menu icon and switch to new Facebook
Step 3: In the process of switching to the new Facebook you will be prompted to Choose a look. Here you can switch to the dark mode or you can also do it later in the setting menu.
Step 4: Select the Dark look to open Facebook in dark mode.
Step 5: Jump to the setting menu and, here you can toggle the dark mode on/off and also may switch to the classic(old) Facebook.
